Why Default Settings Rarely Show the Best Picture

The sharpness control adds artificial edge enhancement rather than restoring real detail. On high-resolution native content, this processing introduces haloing and unnatural outlines around objects.

Filmmaker Mode disables post-processing, preserves original frame rates, and targets professional color standards by design — saving time compared to manual calibration for most viewers.
